Learn more about RayzeBio: https://careers.bms.com/rayzebio/ We are seeking a Global Medical Affairs Strategy Lead to oversee global medical strategy and enrollment for several pipeline programs. This important role involves shaping and executing the global medical strategy for our assets and ensuring scientific excellence. The Global Medical Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research & Development, Commercial, and Corporate Communications. The position will report to the Medical Strategy Disease Area Head.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD (or equivalent scientific or medical training)
  • 7+ years in medical affairs in oncology pharmaceutical/biotech.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with clinical development, corporate communications, and commercial teams to provide medical leadership on organizational objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in building and executing a global medical strategy including medical evidence generation, scientific narrative/medical communications
  • Proven ability to lead the global cross functional medical matrix team to execute upon the global/US strategy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior leadership and the global scientific community
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with strategic thinking, business acumen, and willingness to roll-up your sleeves to support execution

  • Experience with radiopharmaceuticals and/or prostate cancer is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Commercial, Access, and Corporate Communications to shape pipeline and portfolio strategies, ensuring alignment of medical plans with portfolio objectives.
  • Serve as the key medical representative on clinical development teams and study execution teams, providing scientific and medical expertise to support cross-functional deliverables such as early development strategy, trial designs, and recruitment.
  • Accountable for developing the integrated medical evidence plan for early pipeline assets- including therapeutic and diagnostic agents.
  • Oversee medical communication strategy and pull through in publications, congress planning, advisory boards, and KOL engagement.
  • Provide medical leadership across the medical matrix team, including medical positioning, field medical engagement, and external education.
  • Engage with key external thought leaders, medical organizations, and patient advocacy groups to inform strategy and uphold scientific credibility.
  • Mentor and develop medical staff within a matrixed environment.
  • Leverage AI to drive program, portfolio, or functional performance through prioritization and scaled adoption
