AstraZeneca is seeking an experienced Marketing Professional to join their team, focusing on Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) diseases. The company aims to be a world leader in CVRM therapies by 2032, with plans to launch up to fifteen new medicines. This role is crucial for accelerating the commercial development of upcoming launches in heart failure (HF) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with the MRA-SGLT2i asset. The Global Marketing Head will collaborate with other Heads of Marketing for pipeline assets in CKD and HF to shape future strategies and prepare for global launches. The position reports directly to the Vice President Commercial, MRA-SGLT2i & ETA-SGLT2i, requiring high-level collaboration with global cross-functional groups (R&D, Medical Affairs, Policy & Patient Advocacy, Pricing & Market Access, Insights & Analytics, Commercial Excellence, Supply and Operations) and local Market Company (MC) teams. The successful candidate will be accountable for evolving the strategic plan, executing the operational plan, and providing launch preparation support to key launch countries. This role demands a strong matrix leader and global commercial leader with specific responsibility for shaping and implementing brand and therapeutic area strategy, demonstrating clear thinking and passion for the brand and therapeutic area.
