About The Position

AstraZeneca is seeking an experienced Marketing Professional to join their Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team. This role focuses on the ETASi asset, currently in Phase III development for Proteinuric CKD, a condition with a high unmet medical need. The company aims to be a leader in CVRM therapies by 2032, launching up to fifteen new medicines. This position is crucial for developing and implementing the global strategic and operational plans for the ETASi asset, supporting key launch markets, and collaborating with other teams to shape the future of Integrated CKD strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of commercial or strategic marketing experience in biopharma.
  • Specialist launch experience in a competitive space.
  • Experience leveraging clinical data to shape brand strategies and lifecycle planning.
  • Strong working knowledge of forecasting, market research, useful insight generation, and competitive landscape analysis and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated experience in insight generation, positioning, and market shaping.
  • Experience from leveraging AI and digital to drive commercial strategy and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Commercial strategy and planning, driving success from Phase 3 through launch.
  • Shape product strategy aligned with disease area strategies and insights in CKD, in collaboration with Global Brand Directors and Cross-Functional teams.
  • Generate and utilize customer insights (patient, physician, payer) to inform clinical development and create differentiated brand strategies.
  • Analyze and commercially evaluate competitive positioning and unmet need.
  • Contribute to the business LTP and MTP business planning cycle.
  • Support the development of evidence-based forecasts aligned with the target product profile.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal and external customers, including markets, to develop commercial programs and address adoption barriers at launch.
  • Manage marketing relationships with agencies, vendor partners, consultants, and other third-party groups.
  • Collaborate with CVRM Commercial leadership to deliver the global CVRM ambition and successful product launch plans.
