About The Position

This internship offers hands-on experience in learning and development within a dynamic and supportive environment. The intern will assist in the design, development, and implementation of various training programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee development, including the team’s annual Global Learning event. Responsibilities also include contributing to the ongoing maintenance of the Global SharePoint site, helping with the evaluation and analysis of training programs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, and assisting in the creation, review, and delivery of training materials such as presentations, learning catalogues, and e-learning modules. Administrative support, including maintaining training records and preparing reports, is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to on-going maintenance of the Global SharePoint site.
  • Help with the evaluation and analysis of training programs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the creation, review and delivery of training materials including presentations, learning catalogues, and e-learning modules.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining training records and preparing reports.
  • Support the coordination and logistics of training sessions, workshops and events.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Collaborate with team members to research and develop innovative learning solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
