About The Position

JLL is seeking a Global Integrated Facilities Management Director for a prominent Fortune 500 technology client account. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, requiring 30% travel. The position is based in one of the following office locations: New York, NY 10119, Washington, DC 20024, Chicago, IL 60607, or Austin, TX 78759. The schedule operates within the Eastern or Central time zone. The role involves driving operational excellence and innovation across a global portfolio of offices, labs, and data centers. The Director will lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team, aligning facilities strategies with client objectives and optimizing performance. Key responsibilities include managing workplace experience, operations, occupancy planning, and moves/change management to ensure exceptional service delivery. This senior leadership position requires leveraging best-in-class processes and technologies, building strong client relationships, and championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction, thereby strengthening JLL's position as a trusted partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive, executive-level experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, or integrated operations.
  • At least 5 years managing global or multi-regional portfolios.
  • Significant experience in direct client relationship management, negotiation, and strategic consultation with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Master Services Agreement (MSA) governance, contract negotiation, and managing vendor/supplier relationships on a global scale.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial growth and achieving substantial financial results within a large, complex account structure.
  • Fluency in data analytics and performance metrics relevant to global facilities and operational efficiency.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FMP, CFM, PMP, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to strategically lead and navigate complex, multi-country portfolio structures and the interests of diverse global stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in translating client needs into expanded business growth while effectively balancing client requirements with the Firm's profitability.
  • Exceptional ability to manage high-stakes client sensitivities and organizational risks, making sharp, timely decisions on escalation or de-escalation.

  • Comprehensive grasp of FM technical processes and their critical impact on MSA/SOW delivery and strategic optimization across the global account.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Executive Leadership: Collaborate with the senior leadership team and the client to design and execute a global facilities management vision aligned with business and client objectives.
  • Lead Executive Engagement: Act as the strategic partner and primary point of contact for executive clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring business alignment.
  • Inspire High-Performing Teams and Partners: Lead and develop management teams across global markets, driving effective onboarding, talent development, and high performance; cultivate strategic vendor partnerships; coordinate seamless cross-functional collaboration; and excel in operating in a complex, matrixed organizational environment.
  • Drive Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting and forecasting; achieve expenditure targets; deliver cost efficiencies; proactively manage financial and operational risks; and ensure strict compliance with all financial and contractual authorities.
  • Champion Performance Management: Leverage data analytics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities for efficiency, and deliver actionable insights for the portfolio.
  • Advance Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and risk management standards; champion audits and training; proactively identify operational risks and partner with appropriate teams to drive solutions; lead continuous improvement initiatives; and maintain system reliability and consistent performance across the portfolio.
