As the Global Head of Wealth Data & Analytics Production Management, you will step into a premier executive leadership role based in Irving, TX or New Jersey. You will serve as the global single point of accountability for the Wealth Data support organization, leading a high-performing, globally distributed Level 1 and Level 2 support team of up to 80 professionals across the United States (Irving), Switzerland, India, and Singapore. Our team operates a unified, enterprise-critical platform that delivers foundational data and real-time analytics to Citi’s global Wealth Management businesses, including Citi Private Bank, Citi Gold, and Wealth at Work. This highly scalable, regulatory-compliant platform processes millions of daily transactions, enabling real-time financial decisions and safeguarding data integrity for our Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients. In this role, you will not just manage operations you will actively transform them. Backed by Citi’s heavy investment in technology, you will pioneer and execute a next-generation support strategy, leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) and automation to modernize our production environment and deliver world-class operational resilience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry-relevant experience in Production Management, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Technology Operations within a complex, global financial services environment.
  • A track record of successfully managing large, globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Demonstrated experience applying Generative AI, machine learning, or advanced automation to optimize operational processes. Strong conceptual understanding of prompt engineering and AI-driven operations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data solutions, analytics platforms, and wealth management workflows.
  • Familiarity with modern technology stacks, including relational and NoSQL databases, middleware, microservices, and cloud-native environments (AWS/OpenShift).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex matrix organizations, influence senior business and technology stakeholders, and distill complex technical issues into clear, executive-level messages.
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting, and cost-discipline capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of our support paradigm from reactive to proactive. Leverage Citi’s heavily funded GenAI and automation capabilities to minimize manual intervention, optimize support workflows, and establish self-healing system capabilities.
  • Maintain absolute stability and resilience for the Wealth Data & Analytics application suite. Act as the ultimate escalation point and strategic guide during major incident recovery and root-cause investigations.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders across Level 1 Support, Application Development, Infrastructure, Business Operations, and Product Ownership to align production priorities with business growth.
  • Champion the adoption of strategic production tools, focusing on advanced monitoring, observability, capacity planning, and robust disaster recovery frameworks.
  • Enforce elite standards for Production Change Readiness and control adherence, ensuring all technical changes prioritize long-term supportability, sustainability, and platform resilience.
  • Proactively analyze L1, L2, and L3 workload drivers. Identify emerging operational trends, implement rigorous SLA/KPI frameworks, and execute strategic plans to continuously improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse, multi-regional team of up to 80 staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning, engineering discipline, and high performance.
  • Manage the global Wealth Data Production budget and staffing footprint. Make commercially minded, strategic decisions to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while maintaining high service levels from external vendors and partners.
  • Appropriately assess and manage operational risk. Ensure absolute compliance with global laws, regulations, and corporate policies by applying sound ethical judgment and maintaining transparent control reporting.
