Global Enterprise Asset & Maintenance Manager

$240,000 - $310,000Remote

About The Position

Fluidstack is seeking a Global Enterprise Asset & Maintenance Manager to join their Data Center Operations Team. This role is crucial for operating at the scale of a nation, aiming for 100 GW by the end of the decade. The team is responsible for running flawless operations within live construction zones, adapting in real-time, and redefining operational excellence. The individual will build the company's maintenance management index from scratch, establish a CMMS and work management backbone, lead EAM adoption as a change program, write maintenance standards for new sites, and quarterback maintenance data into the operating rhythm to drive reliability improvements.

Requirements

  • Led EAM or CMMS program adoption across a large fleet (hyperscaler, utility, or industrial portfolio), successfully transitioning sites from local spreadsheets to a single system of record without disrupting ongoing work.
  • Built or rebuilt a maintenance program for critical infrastructure, rather than just administering an existing one.
  • Built asset taxonomy and data standards that enable fleet-wide comparison of maintenance performance across sites, and defended these standards against local exceptions.
  • Written PM strategies grounded in equipment criticality and failure modes, with the ability to justify or eliminate tasks based on their necessity.
  • Held vendors and colo providers accountable for maintenance scope through evidence, completion data, and audit findings.
  • Turned maintenance data into actionable decisions, analyzing backlog trends, deferral risk, and recurrence patterns to influence organizational actions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hyperscaler or cloud data center fleet maintenance.
  • Experience with EAM platforms at scale (Maximo, SAP PM, eMaint, MaintainX, or similar).
  • Experience with mission-critical MEP maintenance.
  • CMRP or similar reliability credentials.
  • Experience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM/FMEA).

Responsibilities

  • Build the fleet-wide maintenance management index from zero, serving as the single source of truth for every maintainable asset, its PM program, frequency, and criticality across owned and colo sites.
  • Stand up the CMMS and work management backbone to translate the asset index into scheduled work, ensuring measurable PM completion, deferrals, and backlog at every site.
  • Lead Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) adoption as a change program across a multi-site fleet, including taxonomy, training, site champions, and adoption metrics.
  • Write the maintenance standards (PM strategy, deferral rules, critical spares, vendor scope) that new sites will inherit.
  • Integrate maintenance data into the operating rhythm, feeding reliability trends, recurrence patterns, and asset health into weekly and monthly reviews to address systemic issues.

Benefits

  • Commitment to pay equity and transparency.
  • Equal Employment Opportunity Employer status.
