Within the Portfolio, Strategy, and Insights (PSI) team, you will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, guiding Roche’s product, disease area, pharma, and corporate strategy. The PSI team, which includes Advanced Analytics for Business Insights (AABI), Competitive Intelligence, Ecosystem Insights (EI), Partnering Commercial Assessment Leads, and Pharma Portfolio & Strategy, provides consistent, targeted, and technology-enabled insights to inform decision-making across the enterprise. This includes delivering unbiased, expertly curated intelligence for lifecycle management, commercialization excellence, and portfolio strategies. The Global Ecosystem Insights (EI) team is seeking a Beyond Therapeutic Area (TA) Insights Product Enablement Leader to contribute to shaping Roche's Pharma strategy through market, portfolio, and customer-centric insights. This role operates as an internal consultant and strategist, collaborating with commercial and cross-functional leaders to generate insights that transcend Therapeutic Areas and influence cross-portfolio decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years (or equivalent with advanced education) of Pharma/Biotech commercial insights and Product Tech Enablement experience required.
  • Extensive experience leading implementation of tech enablement / AI solutions for biopharma Primary Market Research, secondary research and/or forecasting deliverables.
  • Experienced in developing, generating buy-in and piloting innovative solutions or novel tools and systems; ability to generate new ideas/approaches that address business needs and drive creation / adoption of best practices.
  • Comfortable translating high-level intent into actionable roadmaps and leading initiatives confidently through uncertainty and resistance.
  • A track record of transformation impact through initiatives at the department/functional level, and/or broader organizational level.
  • A critical thinker capable of navigating TA, portfolio, and enterprise level complexities.
  • Ability to translate research and analysis into concise, compelling business recommendations.
  • Proven ability to connect disparate data points from across the enterprise to form a cohesive strategic narrative.
  • Adept at shaping commercialization strategies by influencing senior stakeholders without authority; expert at bridging various functional and geographic groups to build strong partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Harness next-gen AI and digital solutions in Primary Market Research, secondary data sources, and forecasting to deliver superior quality insights with increased speed and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead innovative projects and workstreams that pioneer new methodologies, apply new technologies, and create analyses that shape development and commercial strategy.
  • Partner extensively within EI and other PSI teams, including ABBI, to drive engagement, embed enhancements, and realize the full value of developed solutions.
  • Navigate a complex global matrix to align cross-functional partners around high-impact, insight-driven deliverables.
  • Establish the framework for integrating Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics into the core of Primary Market Research, secondary insights, and forecasting.
  • Implement tech-augmented approaches that unlock insights and create a distinct competitive advantage for our TAs.
  • Streamline insights workflows through technology solutions, enabling the team to pivot from data analysis to strategic advisory and focus on the highest-value business challenges.
  • Identify, pilot, deploy, and manage a suite of internal and external technology solutions.
  • Partner with AABI to curate the Ecosystem Tool Stack, including GenAI and synthesis platforms, to deliver high-quality insights faster and more cost-effectively.
  • Drive the successful adoption of new technologies by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and daily research workflows.
  • Ensure AI and digital tools are deeply integrated into the team’s culture and ways of working to maximize their impact.
  • Design and deliver structured training programs to lead the digital transformation of EI.
  • Elevate technical fluency and AI literacy across the department, ensuring the team is equipped to leverage a modern, tech-enabled research environment.
