About The Position

The Global Domain & System Administrator will support Hyperion Global Server farm in data centers and offices across all supported business units. This includes Windows and Linux Servers. This is a hybrid position based in our Worthington, OH location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT infrastructure best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering high-quality IT support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and business functions.
  • Experience supporting physical and virtual servers in an enterprise environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Active Directory, VMware or Hyper-V, and enterprise backup solutions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems preferred.
  • Microsoft, VMware, or Linux certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operating within the core values and operating principals of the organization, provides real-time technical support and analysis for internal and external business users.
  • Support the Global Server environment including activities such as provisioning, maintenance & troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers.
  • Maintain the highest level of expertise in designated products and components of the Global Server Operating System and associated hardware
  • Provide troubleshooting support and advanced analysis of requests within the Global Server Environment
  • Own, track, and resolve Global server (physical and virtual servers) trouble tickets, related incidents, and requests
  • Prepare and maintain configuration documentation
  • Maintain infrastructure physical server equipment inventory and manage hardware life cycle.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, administers and integrates vended systems, third party application servers and system software and hardware within the Windows Environment
  • Coordinates and performs firmware upgrades and patch management to Operating System and Application software
  • Monitors and ensures that backup data and resilience methods are scheduled and function appropriately
  • Coordinate system hardware and software testing with development teams to ensure transparent implementation and appropriate capacity
