About The Position

Amex GBT is seeking a strategic and experienced Hotel Integration Project Manager to lead the execution of key Hotel projects from initiation to closure. In this role, you will drive revenue and yield growth through multi-channel platform integrations while managing client relationships, operational processes, and cross-functional collaboration. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Online Booking Tool (OBT) optimization and content management, working globally with internal teams and external clients to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in a similar project management or integration role (or 10+ years of equivalent work experience)
  • Travel industry knowledge with technical systems and Online Booking Tool (OBT) expertise preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools such as Smartsheet
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills with proven ability to manage large-scale, complex initiatives
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and communicate insights effectively
  • Demonstrated experience leading virtual and global teams with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels without direct authority
  • Outstanding communication skills tailored to diverse audiences, with the ability to demonstrate clear value creation
  • Self-motivated, creative, and highly flexible thought leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and business leadership qualities with a customer-service orientation and genuine enthusiasm for client success
  • General understanding of the client lifecycle (sales, implementation, ongoing services) and ability to work effectively under time constraints
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the core business strategy for RoomIt's global channel integration and operational requirements across multiple platforms (OBT, myCWT web/mobile, Power Hotel, and emerging products)
  • Manage end-to-end integration project activities, including planning, scheduling, and controlling timelines while identifying and escalating risks to leadership
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, interpreting data, resolving booking channel issues, and acting as an extension of sales teams for key accounts
  • Develop and execute client pilot strategies, managing all pilot execution and communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Establish prioritization frameworks for all integration activities, ensuring alignment across departments and clear communication of project status, forecasts, and risks
  • Collaborate with Product & Technology teams on issue resolution and development prioritization, while working directly with OBT vendors to accomplish strategic goals
  • Lead the strategy for global content availability and distribution, ensuring local market complexities are understood and addressed
  • Manage, train, develop, and lead the Global Distribution team while monitoring capacity alongside expanding integration requirements
  • Develop integration forecast models to project revenue impact and support the Director of Hotel Operations in broader portfolio planning
  • Perform periodic project reviews to capture lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement across the integration portfolio
