About The Position

Corporate Banking Coverage Deutsche Bank’s Global Corporate Coverage (GCC) group manages relationships with large corporations globally to solve diverse problems for clients. The US GCC group covers US Headquartered clients and their international subsidiaries in EMEA and APAC. We help our clients meet objectives and challenges in financing, risk management, working capital, investments and transaction banking. Clients benefit from dedicated coverage provided by experienced Corporate Bankers, who deliver the firm's extensive product platform and presence in more than 60 countries worldwide. We leverage the capital strength of Deutsche Bank and extend credit to help clients grow their business. As a central part of the firm's plans to further expand its successful international banking franchise, the Corporate Bank offers exciting opportunities as a place to work. Vice President Role Description Working in a team-oriented environment, you will be responsible for developing and deepening senior client relationships across a portfolio of large-cap and growth-oriented Industrials companies in North America, including Automotive, Diversified Industrials, Chemicals and Infrastructure ecosystem clients. You will coordinate closely with colleagues across Deutsche Bank's global platform to deliver exceptional client service and strategic coverage in a professional, ethical and client-focused manner. The role requires active engagement with CFOs, Treasurers and other senior executives to identify opportunities, broaden wallet share and strengthen Deutsche Bank's position as a trusted banking partner. This aligns with the Industrials coverage strategy of expanding executive connectivity, leveraging ecosystem relationships and driving deeper client penetration across the sector.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience covering large-cap Industrials, Infrastructure and Energy or related corporate clients
  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials
  • Understanding of the underlying industry segments, and how large MNCs utilize banking partners for working capital, liquidity, supply chain finance and treasury solutions
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel-based modeling
  • FINRA Series 63 & 79 license holders required
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Responsibilities

  • Generate significant revenue over a sustained period of time through coverage of Industrials, Infrastructure & Energy Clients across the Corporate Bank product suite with a particular focus on Strategic Corporate Lending, Cash Management, Trade Finance & Lending, Trust & Agency Services, Securities Services and Foreign Exchange & Rates Hedging
  • Proactively seek new relationships where we can provide client-centric solutions
  • Develop “Trusted Advisor” status with clients and contribute to building Deutsche Bank’s Coverage franchise and reputation in the market. Build close cooperation with Regional Relationship Management and product teams to ensure that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our global client base are actively coordinated in a logical manner
  • Involve senior management in key client presentations to emphasize alignment with Deutsche Bank’s commitment to build the Business
  • Ensure compliance to KYC and AML requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers
  • Conduct periodic and proactive business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services
  • Provide market expertise to the global coverage team to maximize sector penetration and ensure opportunities are undertaken in an efficient manner
