About The Position

Generation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering adults through employment, aiming to foster economic mobility. The organization partners with governments, employers, and other stakeholders to train and place individuals into careers that might otherwise be out of reach. Since its inception in 2015, Generation has served over 150,000 graduates and partnered with 23,000 employers across 17 countries and 50 professions. The program boasts high placement rates for its graduates, with many earning significantly more than their previous wages. Generation's graduates typically have a secondary school education, with a notable percentage being female, having dependents, and identifying with underrepresented communities. The Digital Talent Hub (DTH) specifically connects employers with pre-trained digital talent in Africa, offering support in talent sourcing, workforce readiness, and performance monitoring. This role is crucial for expanding the DTH's reach in Pan-Africa.

Requirements

  • Capable of effective account management, partnership management, talent placement, or HR/recruitment roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple employers and priorities.
  • High level of initiative, professionalism & empathy.
  • Able to manage conflicts and escalate issues appropriately.
  • A deep understanding of DTH subject areas: Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Customer Support, Sales, or Web Development.
  • Key Competencies: Relationship management, Communication & presentation skills, Reporting & record-keeping ability, Problem-solving & adaptability, Stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience in the African tech or talent ecosystem is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship contact for global remote employer partners across Pan-Africa.
  • Manage the effective onboarding of DTH employers.
  • Conduct regular project management meetings, check-ins, and performance reviews.
  • Monitor project performance, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Maintain CRM and document all employer interactions.
  • Track employer engagement, hiring outcomes, and performance data.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, collaborating with internal teams (talent and alumni management, marketing, operations, BD systems, and administration).
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports to program leadership.
  • Support program insights, alumni activities, and feedback loops.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services or introduce new solutions that add value for the client.
  • Address client concerns promptly, troubleshoot problems, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient delivery and profitability.
