We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto or Vancouver offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance. This is a 6-month fixed-term position. There may be opportunity for extension or permanent depending on business needs. Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience across a variety of functions and levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
  • Commitment to fostering diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience recruiting within financial services considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activities including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing market insights, hiring recommendations, and guidance on recruitment best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship management
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Develop compelling job postings and recruitment marketing strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Leverage data and recruitment metrics to evaluate hiring effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and critical hiring projects across the organization.
  • Promote employment branding initiatives and represent Peoples Group at networking and recruitment events as required.
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with company policies, employment legislation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
