About The Position

Global Business Process Owner, Talent Management (People Operations Transformation Leader) is responsible for owning the global standard for how Versigent hires, onboards, builds, and plans its workforce. This role involves designing these processes end-to-end for a workforce that is mostly on the factory floor, and ensuring they are implemented practically in Workday across every site. The position requires a hands-on approach, working directly with local teams in plants and on the line to understand and map existing processes, then connecting them to the global standard to create streamlined, efficient operations. The focus is on practical, simple standards that people actually use, especially in works-council-sensitive markets. The goal is to improve hiring and onboarding speed, enhance retention in a high-volume environment, and develop talent processes that are defensible for a floor population. This role is critical for transforming people operations and ensuring a consistent, effective talent management system globally.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Lean process design experience.
  • Workshop facilitation experience in plants and in-country, with the ability to design in the room with local teams and produce agreed-upon processes and change lists.
  • Practical experience designing talent processes for large, operational, high-volume workforces.
  • Command of how talent, learning, and recruiting are built in a modern HR system, Workday preferred.
  • Ability to be a builder who is steady in ambiguity, credible from the plant floor to the top of the house, and comfortable traveling across cultures.
  • About 10+ years in talent, HR process, or workforce planning, with several years at a global or multi-country scope.
  • Consulting or in-house process-design background, with floor-tested experience (real value stream mapping in operations, not desk theory).
  • Carve-out, spin-off, or tenant-separation experience.
  • Workday experience preferred, especially with the core HCM lifecycle.
  • English language fluency.
  • Local resident of Metro Detroit with the ability to work on site.
  • Valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel globally (up to 70%).

Nice To Haves

  • A formal Lean or Six Sigma credential preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
