About The Position

Blackstone is seeking a Global Advertising Campaign Strategy, AVP to support the development and execution of integrated paid media campaigns. Reporting to the Global Advertising Campaign Strategy Lead, this role contributes to initiatives spanning the U.S., Japan, and other international markets. The position requires a global perspective, fluency across creative and media channels, and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones. This individual will partner with marketing, digital, and content teams, as well as external agencies, to support campaign strategy and execution across markets and channels. The role focuses on translating business priorities into clear creative and channel guidance, helping ensure campaigns are audience‑led and aligned with brand and commercial objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong creative and media judgment, a thoughtful strategic perspective, and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional partners and agency teams. They are a clear communicator who can connect audience insight, channel strategy, and creative thinking to support high‑impact marketing outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising, creative strategy, brand strategy, integrated marketing, or agency strategy roles
  • Experience working at the intersection of creative strategy and digital marketing — i.e., comfort connecting creative decisions to audience data and channel performance, not exclusively a traditional brand-building background
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated campaigns across paid, digital, and brand channels in partnership with external agencies
  • Uses AI tools to improve day-to-day workflows across briefing, research, and creative development, and adapts strategies based on how AI is changing customer behavior, search and discovery, and platform dynamics
  • Strong writing and briefing skills, and can translate business priorities and audience insights into clear creative briefs and campaign strategy documents
  • Strong creative judgment and experience shaping work from brief through production with agency and cross-functional partners
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, and can influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams
  • Translate audience insight, brand priorities, and business objectives into clear creative and channel strategy
  • Comfort using campaign performance and audience insights to inform creative refinement and future strategy

Responsibilities

  • Support integrated advertising strategy across markets and channels, aligning campaign direction to brand priorities, audience insight, and business objectives
  • Partner with creative agencies to develop advertising campaigns and bring ideas to life across channels through clear briefs, strategic direction, and thoughtful creative feedback
  • Help shape creative work for U.S. and international campaigns from brief through production to ensure alignment with brand messaging, priority audiences, and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to maintain strategic alignment across media, production, and key stakeholder groups throughout campaign development
  • Own and build mid‑ and lower‑funnel creative activation in partnership with internal content teams, driving the implementation of modular content systems and AI‑enabled workflows that enable effective creative scaling across channels.
