About The Position

The Global Account Manager is responsible for selling the company’s products and services by calling on new and current customers. This individual interacts with all internal Departments, external Customers, and MANE Affiliates. Key competencies: Project and Time Management, Professionalism and Leadership, Communication and Presentation Skills, Customer Etiquette and Relationships, Self-Management, and Adaptability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience, particularly in managing large, sophisticated, global accounts preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of flavors and/or food ingredients.
  • Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Office and MANE’s computer systems.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced technical degree desired.

Responsibilities

  • Sell company’s products and services by calling on prospective and established customers.
  • Write, develop, and present strategic account strategies to include all necessary information that will accelerate new business and grow the company.
  • Develop sales based on existing and new contacts.
  • Meet sales goal targets.
  • Determine priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and strategy.
  • Maintain sales programs and keep customers informed about available services, prices, and new products.
  • Leverage internal relationships and competencies with customers to achieve account and territory growth.
  • Be expert in knowing and understanding the business needs, products, and people of target accounts to best execute account strategies.
  • Write measurable yearly goals and objectives that are aligned with senior management G&O.
  • Represent MANE at related industry and associated meetings.
  • Monitor competitive activity.
  • Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts with MANE affiliates as needed.
  • Build global Account Plans and execute them across the Key international locations internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership skills to assist with the management and development of the Account Management team.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
