About The Position
Nesco Resource is now hiring for experienced 1st Shift Glaze Wiper positions at a local facility in Hickory, NC. Apply and wipe glaze on furniture components to achieve the required finish and appearance. Prepare furniture surfaces for finishing and inspect pieces throughout the process. Ensure consistent color, coverage, and overall quality according to production standards. Identify and report defects or imperfections in finished products. Follow established production procedures and all workplace safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Experience in furniture manufacturing, cabinetry, case goods, sanding, spraying, finishing, assembly prep, glazing, or related manufacturing experience.
- Dependable
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 1 year or more of relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate based on experience.
