Tile - Glaze Line Technician - A Shift
About The Position
The Glaze Line Technician ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to and helps maintain a safe and healthy working environment for Glaze Line areas. This role follows the Quality Management System, certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations. The technician performs necessary LTT audits, assists in delivering weekly safety training, and ensures product specifications are followed in the Glazing department. They are responsible for reviewing box samples and pre-production tests with the Supervisor, and assisting the Glaze Line Supervisor in coordinating glaze line operations. Additionally, the technician is responsible for training new hires on safety, quality policy, management systems, glazing equipment operations, and product knowledge. They also work with the maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs, provide fill-in and relief for all glazing job functions, and perform adjustments to rotocolor, digital machines, and airless cabins to ensure correct production. The role also involves assisting in color and production changes and completing other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Adherence to all safety protocols.

- Knowledge of product specifications for the Glazing department.

- Experience working with maintenance teams on operator basic care programs.
- Proficiency in filling in and relieving for all glazing job functions.
- Ability to perform adjustments to rotocolor, digital machines, and airless cabins.
- Assistance in color and production changes.
