About The Position

Ascend Staffing is recruiting hard reliable workers for our Glass Packing Company in Winlock, WA. This is a great opportunity to grow and work with a great company. The position requires passing a pre-employment drug screen for THC and all drugs, as the client has zero tolerance. A pre-employment physical is also required, with the ability to lift/grip up to 70 lbs. with both hands.

Requirements

• Must have GED or high school Diploma
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen including THC
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and be able to grip up to 70 lbs. with both hands
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to follow directions

Responsibilities

• Move and lift materials safely throughout the facility
• Follow all health and safety regulations while operating equipment
• Wear required safety gear: headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate clothing
• Complete all assigned tasks quickly and safely
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
• Follow project instructions from managers or supervisors
• Adhere to all company safety rules and policies
• Monitor glass at it goes by for any defects
• Watch glass be made and ensure its being made correctly
• Use forklifts to move things around
