About The Position

MY Shower Door is seeking coachable, mechanically inclined individuals to train as Glass Installation Technicians. The role focuses on installing custom luxury frameless glass shower enclosures at residential job sites. The company provides expert, hands-on training and mentorship; applicants may bring experience in trades such as tile, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, remodeling, or general handyman work, or demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Technicians work in pairs, interact professionally with homeowners, and use tools such as drills, levels, suction cups, and measuring tapes. The work includes safely maneuvering glass panels weighing up to 100 pounds, applying caulking, producing watertight finishes, and protecting and maintaining clean work areas in customers’ homes. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and availability for extended hours and overtime. The work is field-based at local residential job sites, including finished bathrooms in new or remodeled homes. It involves frequent homeowner interaction, detailed installation work, and daily variety. MY Shower Door is a family-owned Florida company with more than 120,000 installations and multiple showrooms. Its installers are trained in-house rather than working as subcontractors.
