About The Position
The Glass Cutting Handler is focused on ensuring a quality glass product is produced safely and efficiently and reports to the Shift Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who likes to work with a small team, has strong attention to detail and who takes pride in their work. A vital member of the Operations Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs-75lbs regularly over shift and remain standing for long periods
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper reading of tags for glass selection and department requirements
- Ability to manually cut glass and pull sheets of glass when required
- Break – out scored pieces of glass and inspect edges for quality and reject if required
- Based on tag information place tagged glass on rack, dolly, or A-frame as required
- Perform single and team lifts to safely transfer glass from Cutting Table to A-frame/rack/dolly
