About The Position
Input, processing, and maintenance of Client Distribution Lines and Equipment assets in an ESRI GIS database.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree (Geography, GIS, or similar field), GIS Certificate, or at least 2 years of full time GIS work experience is required
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software required
- Competency with standard computer software, to include Microsoft Office suite is required
- Compatible working in a team environment is required
- Flexible to work 40 hours per week, M-F, in an office environment in Birmingham, Alabama.
- Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours per day, starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 5pm.
- Flexible to work remotely (from home) as well.
- Remote work requires stable broadband Internet connection of 20mb/s or capable of supporting remote desktop connections over VPN and is responsibility of worker.
Nice To Haves
- Power Distribution knowledge is a plus
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software is a plus
- Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) is a plus
