This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Our Tallahassee, FL office is seeking a GIS Data Scientist intern for Summer 2026. Housing and relocation are not provided for this position. Requirements
- Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Planning or other related field of study.
- Rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student
- Experience using ESRI, Intergraph, or Bentley software products
Responsibilities
- Assists project team members with various support tasks.
- Conducts basic research and data collection.
- Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
- Performs other duties assigned.
