University, 2026 Summer Games Data Scientist Intern
About The Position
The Summer Games is an innovative internship program designed to attract top students to develop breakthrough ideas or solutions for complex customer problems. Interns gain valuable technical skills in a competitive and collaborative environment, simulating a real-world startup accelerator. Divided into teams, interns work on different challenge projects, receiving mentorship from senior leaders, utilizing Booz Allen’s products and engagement models, and leveraging team collaboration. The program culminates in a final Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Past projects have included developing navigation aids for blind individuals, an app for military commanders to track real-time information, fighting human trafficking, and tracking disease spread.
Requirements
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
- Knowledge of structured and unstructured data sources
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Winter 2027, Spring 2028, or Summer 2028
