About The Position

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks part-time Assistant Girls’ Volleyball Coaches (Assistant Varsity, Assistant Junior Varsity, and Middle School Assistant) for the fall 2026 season. These part-time, seasonal, stipend positions begin August 24, 2026 and end November 6, 2026, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. The season includes several holidays including Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Indigenous People’s Day. Qualified candidates will embrace the unique role of athletics in an independent school setting; have strong organizational skills; embrace and uphold team values (e.g., positive sportsmanship, character, compassion, integrity); have experience in teaching volleyball concepts; have experience in effectively managing relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents; and be able to attend practices and games. Qualified candidates will also possess intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to others’ ideas, eagerness to extend themselves for others, and a sense of humor. Requirements

  • Significant experience in participating in and/or coaching competitive volleyball.
