About The Position

This is a seasonal, fixed-term, temporary, benefits-ineligible, in-person position for a Girls Varsity Volleyball Assistant Coach at DSST Conservatory Green High School. The season runs from 8/15/2026 to 10/31/2026. The stipend ranges from $2,500 to $3,500 based on years of experience. The role involves modeling and reinforcing the school's core values, fostering a positive team environment, and designing and implementing comprehensive training programs. Coaches must be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive activity buses.

Responsibilities

  • Live and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and goals of individual athletes and the team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, focusing on technique, strength, endurance, and skill development.
  • Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive our activity buses.
