About The Position

Oak Park and River Forest High School (OPRF) is seeking a Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach. This is a part-time, stipend position during the sport season, requiring a commitment of 2+ hours per day, 6 days per week. The Assistant Coach will work under the direction of the Head Coach. OPRF is a comprehensive public high school known for its diversity, strong academic preparation, and commitment to closing opportunity gaps for students of color and under-represented groups. The school values faculty and staff who have high expectations for all students and support creativity, leadership, and innovation.

Requirements

• Illinois Professional Educators License or ASEP Coaching Certification required.
• Knowledge of the sport.
• Experience in coaching.
• Ability to work 2+ hours per day – 6 days per week throughout the sport season.

Responsibilities

• Work with and take direction from the Head Coach.

Benefits

• Per Faculty Senate contract, level 3 stipend, 0.80 FTE
