About The Position

The Boys JV Basketball Head Coach is a seasonal, fixed-term, temporary, benefits-ineligible, in-person position at DSST Conservatory Green High School. The coaching season runs from November 1, 2026, to March 1, 2027. The role involves reinforcing school core values, fostering a positive team environment, and designing and implementing training programs. Coaches must also be willing and able to drive activity buses.

Responsibilities

  • Live and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community
  • Reinforce the school’s core values, guiding philosophy, rules, and school spirit
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and goals of individual athletes and the team
  • Conduct regular training sessions, focusing on technique, strength, endurance, and skill development
  • Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols
  • Be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive our activity buses
