About The Position

The Syracuse City School District is seeking a dedicated Girls Varsity Cross Country Head Coach for Corcoran High School for the Fall 2026 season. The district offers 120 different athletic teams for students in grades 7-12, with a coaching staff of certified, dedicated individuals who enjoy working with student athletes. The modified program (grades 7-8) emphasizes skill development, participation, discipline, enjoyment, competition, and the value of hard work, preparing students for high school competition. High school teams (freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity) focus on refining skills, striving for success, and developing academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
