About The Position

This is a supplemental contract position for the Spring 2026-2027 school year, running from March to May. The Girls Head Coach at Penn Wood HS will be responsible for leading the spring girls' athletic activity. Individuals selected for this role will provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and their administrator(s) via a Weekly Athletic Practice Plan, which includes a schedule of activities, the number of students attending, and signatures for each student attending per session. Rosters for attendance may accompany the activity tracker. Athletic supplemental contracts will be paid within three (3) weeks of receipt of notification from the building administrator that all responsibilities have been met. There will be no compensation for additional practice time required. All coaches must confirm completion of Concussion Training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training by emailing [email protected]. Assignment and termination of supplemental contracts are administrative prerogatives. Per WPEA contract, page 52, Exhibit E, all employees shall give 60 days notice of resignation from supplemental positions. The job description is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Requirements

  • Completion of Concussion Training
  • Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
  • Ability to provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and administrator(s)
  • Ability to create and maintain a Weekly Athletic Practice Plan
  • Ability to obtain student signatures for attendance
  • Adherence to the 60-day notice of resignation policy for supplemental positions

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and administrator(s) via Weekly Athletic Practice Plan.
  • Include a schedule of activities and the number of students who attend in the practice plan.
  • Obtain signatures for each student attending per session.
  • Ensure completion of Concussion Training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training.
  • Fulfill all responsibilities to ensure timely payment of the supplemental contract.
