About The Position

This is a supplemental contract position for the Winter Sports season of 2026-2027, specifically for the Indoor Track Boys Head Coach at Penn Wood HS. The position runs from November to February. Coaches are expected to provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and administrators via a Weekly Athletic Practice Plan, which should include a schedule of activities, the number of students attending, and signatures for each student attending per session. Rosters for attendance may accompany the activity tracker. Supplemental contract payments will be made within three weeks of notification that all responsibilities have been met. There is no additional compensation for required extra practice time. All coaches must confirm completion of Concussion Training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training by emailing [email protected]. Assignment and termination of supplemental contracts are administrative prerogatives. Bargaining unit members will generally not be assigned more than two full-year and three seasonal supplemental contracts per year, unless they are the sole applicant for a position.

Requirements

• Completion of Concussion Training
• Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
• Ability to provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and administrator(s)
• Ability to maintain a Weekly Athletic Practice Plan with student attendance and signatures
• Adherence to the 60-day notice of resignation from supplemental positions per WPEA contract, page 52, Exhibit E.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and administrator(s) via Weekly Athletic Practice Plan.
• Include a schedule of activities and the number of students who attend in the Weekly Athletic Practice Plan.
• Obtain signatures for each student attending per session in the Weekly Athletic Practice Plan.
• Confirm completion of Concussion Training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training.
• Perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time as needed.
