Girls Basketball Assistant Coach - Sageview High School
About The Position
Pasco School District No. 1 is hiring a Girls Basketball Assistant Coach at Sageview High School. The coach will direct all phases of the athletic program, mentor coaches within the program, and coordinate out-of-season camps and/or clinics as needed or required. The role requires compliance with WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines, along with attendance at required district and WIAA training, including concussion-management training. The position requires a high school diploma, a Type 2 license or willingness to obtain one, and satisfaction of WIAA coaching requirements. A valid Washington State Teaching Certificate, a bachelor's degree or higher, and previous high school or collegiate coaching experience are desired. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening. Salary is based on the current Coaching Salary Schedule.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain one.
- Meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- High school diploma.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Pass a fingerprint screening as a condition of new hire.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
