About The Position

Pasco School District No. 1 is hiring a Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach at Sageview High School. The position follows the current Coaching Salary Schedule. New hires are conditional upon passing a required fingerprint screening. The assistant coach will mentor coaches within the program, coordinate out-of-season camps and/or clinics as needed or required, and complete district and/or WIAA training necessary to maintain coaching eligibility, including concussion-management training.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Type 2 license or willingness to obtain one.
• Meet WIAA coaching requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Pass the required fingerprint screening as a condition of new hire.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Mentor coaches within the program.
• Coordinate out-of-season camps and/or clinics as needed or required.
• Attend district training regarding concussion management.
• Attend other district and/or WIAA training required to maintain coaching eligibility.
