Gift Stocker (TULSA/Seasonal) Non-Safety Sensitive
About The Position
This is a seasonal, non-safety sensitive position in Tulsa. The Gift Stocker will perform general warehouse duties including loading and unloading trucks, labeling merchandise with destinations using a scan gun, moving merchandise to the floor using carts, and relocating merchandise between bays. The role also involves ensuring merchandise displays are appealing, changing or rotating displays and signage according to inventory or promotions, and using proper procedures with tools like knives and flat carts. Additionally, the position requires assisting other departments, checking daily assignments, maintaining excellent customer relations with internal and external customers, and performing other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion
- Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs constantly to move objects
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Labeling merchandise with a destination using a scan gun properly
- Moving merchandise to the floor using carts
- Moving merchandise from one bay to another as instructed
- Ensuring merchandise being displayed looks the best possible way
- Changing or rotating displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion
- Using proper procedures when working with knives, flat carts, and lifting merchandise
- Assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed
- Checking daily closing assignments and responsibilities
- Using excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
- Performing any other duties as directed by management
