About The Position
Responsible for gift shop operation. This role involves opening and closing procedures for the gift shop, handling monetary functions, marking prices on merchandise, and delivering flowers, balloons, and gifts. The position emphasizes safety, record keeping, and process improvement.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Intermittent hand manipulation required
- Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 pounds
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing procedures for gift shop.
- Responsible for monetary functions.
- Marks prices on merchandise.
- Delivers flowers, balloons and gifts.
- Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.
- Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required.
- Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.
- Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.
Benefits
- Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $15.50 - $23.25
