Cloverkey is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate for their gift shop located at Methodist Mansfield. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting store goals, maintaining a clean store, and handling cash transactions. The ideal candidate will assist customers, follow company policies, and build positive relationships with hospital contacts and volunteers. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to every customer who enters the gift shop, including greeting, thanking, and inviting them back.
  • Meet store performance objectives, including daily and monthly sales goals.
  • Follow directions for supporting events and promotions.
  • Clock in and out according to the scheduled work slot to manage budgeted hours.
  • Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained, including dusting shelves, removing trash, organizing displays according to corporate standards, and adhering to special cleanliness requirements for infection prevention.
  • Clean surfaces as per the gift shop schedule and instructions.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including counting down the register drawer at the start of each shift and during shift changes.
  • Follow company policy for processing various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, payroll deduction, hospital charge account).
  • Properly notate cash overages or shortages and notify the Store Manager of unexplained differences over $10.
  • Adhere to hospital and Cloverkey policies regarding personal appearance, attendance, and customer service.
  • Understand and maintain a good relationship with the hospital contact.
  • Show respect for and understanding of the role of volunteers.
