This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting store goals, maintaining a clean store, and handling cash transactions. The ideal candidate will assist customers, follow company policies, and build positive relationships with hospital contacts and volunteers. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to every customer who enters the gift shop, including greeting, thanking, and inviting them back.
Meet store performance objectives, including daily and monthly sales goals.
Follow directions for supporting events and promotions.
Clock in and out according to the scheduled work slot to manage budgeted hours.
Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained, including dusting shelves, removing trash, organizing displays according to corporate standards, and adhering to special cleanliness requirements for infection prevention.
Clean surfaces as per the gift shop schedule and instructions.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including counting down the register drawer at the start of each shift and during shift changes.
Follow company policy for processing various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, payroll deduction, hospital charge account).
Properly notate cash overages or shortages and notify the Store Manager of unexplained differences over $10.
Adhere to hospital and Cloverkey policies regarding personal appearance, attendance, and customer service.
Understand and maintain a good relationship with the hospital contact.
Show respect for and understanding of the role of volunteers.
