About The Position

The Gift Shop Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the St. Mary's Gift Shop inventories using a web-based register system. This role requires providing excellent customer service to hospital guests and staff.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of retail experience required.
  • Assured, self-motivated
  • Well-organized
  • Detail oriented in use of numbers as well as data base
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Knowledge in use of excel

Responsibilities

  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including drawer count out and reconciliation of daily transactions to the register close out report.
  • Maintain a clean and organized gift shop and stock room.
  • Enter and maintain all inventories in Lightspeed.
  • Merchandising of sales floor.
  • Review and submit invoices for payment.
  • Inputting revenue and expenses into quick-books.
  • Place orders for merchandise such as candy, balloons, plush etc.
