About The Position

This position is responsible for all register transactions, handling sums of money with accuracy, and ensuring the drawer balances at the end of each shift. The Gift Shop Clerk is also responsible for coding and tagging all merchandise, maintaining a fully stocked and organized sales floor, and reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor. This role requires compliance with company and department policies, strong interpersonal skills, and reliable attendance. A key aspect of this role is providing a courteous, efficient, and pleasant environment for guests.

Requirements

  • Handle money with accuracy.
  • Math, organizational & exceptional customer service skills.
  • Register and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all register transactions
  • Handling sums of money with accuracy, making sure drawer balances at the end of shift.
  • Responsible for coding and tagging all merchandise including sundries and consumables.
  • Making sure floor is fully stocked during and at the end of each shift with a neat, clean and organized appearance.
  • Report all unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills to work productively with others
  • Report for work as scheduled.
  • Provide a courteous, efficient and pleasant environment for our guests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
