About The Position

Datavalet is looking for a senior, business‑oriented technical leader to head our Pre‑Sales organization. This role sits at the center of technology, customer value, and revenue growth, partnering closely with Sales and Delivery to win complex enterprise deals and scale high‑quality solutions. This is an ideal role for an experienced technical professional who understands that great solution design is a growth lever, not just an engineering exercise.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments (Wireless, LAN, WAN, Managed Services)
5+ years leading and developing technical teams
Proven experience supporting sales in fast‑paced, customer‑facing environments
Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills
Experience designing RF and enterprise network solutions (Ekahau or equivalent preferred)
Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; French an asset)

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Pre‑Sales Solutions Engineers
Act as a senior technical advisor on complex, high‑value sales opportunities
Translate customer business objectives into scalable, differentiated technical solutions
Own end‑to‑end solution design: architecture, scope, sizing, and service models
Lead technical strategy for RFPs, strategic pursuits, and expansion opportunities
Partner with Sales, Finance, Delivery, and vendors to ensure solutions are accurate, commercially sound, and deliverable
Create high‑quality proposals, Statements of Work, and managed services scopes that form the foundation of long‑term customer relationships
Establish consistent, repeatable solution standards and quality governance across the pre‑sales function
