The successful candidate must have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a professional services firm or law firm, and will be responsible for collaborating with the division leader to support operational and strategic decisions, planning and overseeing the daily operations of the division, and supporting the growth and resource needs of the MT>iplus team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a professional services firm or law firm.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with other software tools such as Aderant and Workday is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize workflow.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with agility.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the division leader to make decisions regarding operational activities, policies, and practices.
  • Develop and provide strategic support to the division leader to define appropriate objectives that foster growth opportunities for the division.
  • Participate in strategic discussions.
  • Provide strategic support to the division leader regarding operational profitability and decisions: rates, task and resource allocation.
  • Plan and oversee the daily operations of the division: implement and optimize processes to achieve division objectives.
  • Collaborate with the finance department by overseeing financial management, planning, systems, and controls, including developing and managing the division's annual budget.
  • Manage monthly reporting, including the collection and analysis of division workflow metrics and data.
  • Manage and develop all direct reports, including monitoring performance objectives, both quantitative and qualitative (in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Knowledge Integration).
  • Provide ongoing support to the MT>iplus team, including assisting with long-term planning and assessing the need for additional resources (lawyers, paralegals, or legal assistants).
  • Manage team operations, including performance management, compensation, staff development, employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding and orientation, as well as departures and exit processes, in conjunction with HR as needed.
