About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a German Teacher for a client in New York. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one business course with a total of 30 hours, consisting of two-hour sessions. The student is at an advanced level, aged 25-34, and aims to prepare for and pass C1 and C2 German exams, focusing on formal grammar and complex tenses. Classes are to be held once per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 4pm and 7pm, at the teacher's office in East Village, New York, 10009. The schedule and location may be flexible. The hourly rate is negotiable.

Requirements

Native German speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Valid work permit/visa.
Live within 20 miles of East Village, New York, 10009.
Ability to teach at the teacher's office in East Village.
Availability for classes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 4pm and 7pm.
