About The Position

Language Trainers, an international language training company founded in 2004, is seeking a Finnish teacher for a client in Miami, United States. The company specializes in providing customized language training to professionals and private students for various purposes. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general Finnish course for a 5-year-old child at the beginner/elementary level. The total course duration is 20 hours, with sessions of two hours each. The location will be at the client's location, the teacher's office, or a public spot in the Miami area (33140). The schedule is flexible, typically once a week on weekdays after 4 pm, or anytime on weekends. The start date is expected to be in early to mid-June. The motivation for the course is to improve the Finnish language skills of the child, as the family, though originally from Finland, does not speak enough Finnish at home.

Requirements

Native Finnish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Possess a valid work permit/visa.
Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Miami, 33140).
Ability to submit a CV with references.
Provide availability and earliest possible start date.
