About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company, founded in 2004, that provides customized language training to professionals and private students. They are currently seeking a freelance Dari Teacher for a client in Boulder, United States. The course is a general, one-to-one format, totaling 30 hours with two-hour sessions. The training will be for an Elementary level student, aged 17 and under, who is motivated by friends. Classes are scheduled once per week, with preferred days being Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, or any other day after 4:30 pm. Weekend classes are available from 11 am to 8 pm. During summer break, classes will be arranged on a week-to-week basis. The position is freelance and part-time, with an hourly rate that is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Language Trainers is unable to sponsor visas for this role.
Requirements
- Be a native Dari speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location
