The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, invites applications for Geriatrics, Assistant/Associate/Professor, Internal Medicine, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. ROLE of the POSITION The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, Internal Medicine Department, is searching for an Assistant/Associate/Professor in the specialty of Geriatrics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing academic Geriatrics practice. The successful candidate will have a passion for the teaching of internal medicine residents and Geriatrics Fellows in both the inpatient medical service and ambulatory setting. The position will engage in didactic teaching, research, and maintain a practice of Geriatric Medicine, delivering and striving for excellence in patient care. Requirements

  • This position requires a M.D. or D.O. from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • Completed an ACGME-approved Internal Medicine Residency Program, completed an ACGME-approved Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program
  • Be board certified in Internal Medicine, and be board certified or board eligible within two (2) years of graduation from an ACGME-approved Geriatrics Fellowship Program.
  • Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, Nevada pharmacy and DEA licenses, and malpractice insurance.
  • They must also meet credentialing requirements and be able to obtain privileges at affiliated hospitals and other site locations as needed.
