About The Position
Roland Park Place is seeking compassionate and dependable Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) or Certified Medication Technicians (CMT) for full-time and part-time opportunities across all shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights). This role is crucial in enhancing the lives of residents by assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, monitoring care, and collaborating with a healthcare team. Requirements
- Current Maryland GNA Certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A passion for providing outstanding care to older adults
Nice To Haves
- Current Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification (preferred for medication technician positions)
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administering medications safely and accurately (CMT)
- Monitoring and documenting resident care
- Recording vital signs and reporting changes in condition
- Supporting resident independence while providing compassionate care
- Creating meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Working collaboratively with an exceptional interdisciplinary care team
