Geotechnical Field Technician
About The Position
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is hiring Geotechnical Field Technicians for our Washington, D.C. office. This role is perfect for recent grads or anyone ready to build a career in civil engineering, geology, or construction. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the construction process, observing, testing soils, concrete, and other materials on active construction sites, gaining hands-on experience and industry certifications. Requirements
- High school diploma or degree (engineering/geology preferred)
- Reliable vehicle & good driving record
- Certifications like NICET, ACI, WACEL, or Structural a plus
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Love for outdoor work & physical activity
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Own a Reliable Vehicle and have a Good Driving Record
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Ability to work alone as well as in a group
Nice To Haves
- B.S. in Geology (preferred but not required)
- Certificates such as NICET, ACI, WACEL (preferred but not required)
