About The Position
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a bright, motivated college graduate to join their team as a Geotechnical Field Professional in Alliance, OH. This role involves providing higher-level task support to the Construction Observation and Testing (COT) group, supporting geologists, engineers, and scientists for a diverse client base in the private and public sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study
- Own Transportation, valid driver's license and Good Driving Record

Responsibilities
- Observe and document construction activities to assure compliance with technical specifications
- Prepare daily field reports and test summaries documenting the work being performed
- Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports
- Perform routine calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, etc. under the training of senior staff
- Provide a variety of other observation and testing services for geotechnical and environmental development projects as you support geologists, engineers, and scientists for a diverse client base in the private and public sectors
