About The Position

This position is contingent upon contract award. SOSi is seeking a Geospatial Solutions Architect to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in geospatial architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms, as well as integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications.
• Experience with spatial analysis, remote sensing, and geospatial AI/ML applications is required.
• Possess the knowledge and capability to design and implement geospatial visualization solutions, ensuring integration with operational dashboards and cloud-based platforms.
• Proficient in GIS tools, geospatial data processing, and mapping services.

Nice To Haves

• Desirable but not required certifications include ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Associate or GISP certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain geospatial data visualization solutions that integrate with cloud-based platforms.
• Develop operational dashboards that leverage GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms.
• Optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics and cross-domain information sharing.
• Oversee the integration of geospatial AI/ML models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with mission requirements.
• Provide the Geospatial Data & Dashboard Integration Report, detailing geospatial system enhancements and user engagement metrics.
