About The Position

Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Suffern, NY office. This role involves conducting hydrogeologic and geologic investigations, supervising pumping tests, performing water-quality sampling, streamflow gaging, GIS map and graphics generation, soil sampling and logging during well installation, and permit and report writing. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology, a positive attitude, enthusiasm for field work, practical knowledge of GIS and Microsoft Suite, and excellent communication skills. Some travel will be required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Requirements

• BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting
• Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings
• Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license is required.
