Requirements
- Master's Degree
- Eligibility to sit for the ABGC certification exam within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews and family history assessments to collect medical, genetic, and psychosocial information.
- Provide genetic counseling for a variety of indications, including prenatal, pediatric, adult, and cancer genetics.
- Educate patients and families about genetic conditions, inheritance patterns, testing options, and potential outcomes.
- Assist with ordering, interpreting, and communicating genetic test results under the guidance of a certified genetic counselor.
- Prepare case summaries, reports, and documentation for patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in genetics and genomics.
- Assist in the development of patient education materials and community outreach programs.
- Other duties assigned.
